- It's intersting but predictable that Google is trying to take over a big competator. What would be more interesting would be a nonproprietary social network. Diaspora was a good idea, but it was implemented by amateurs using rather poor software components.

- This is Google's fourth attempt to kill facebook. I just don't want to see them own so much of the internet. And it's annoying to see some media people shilling for Google, like this article clearly does. There's nothing technologically interesting about Google+.
